Call for Participation

Participants do not need to have a technical background in robotics. Interest in Human-Robot Interaction and collaboration, design, performance, movement, prototyping and fabrication are welcome. We encourage participants to have curiosity and openness to explore material intelligence and embodied interaction.

Participants should submit a 300 word manifesto in PDF format that describes a robotic animal persona: its mood, movement, and material qualities. Submissions are encouraged to include annotated sketches and images of previous work, current projects, or speculative concepts. Additionally, all participants must submit a biography of maximum 150 words to help foster connections among attendees and mutual learning throughout the workshop.

We invite participants to submit their contribution by 16th November 2025
